400 Series (SAU400-*) vs. 4000 Series (SAU4000M-*)

As you browse through our website and attempt to narrow down the most suitable item for your compressed air system, you may notice there are items that appear the same and even have nearly identical part numbers.

For our SAU series product line, we are gradually transitioning from the 4000 Series to the 400 Series.  In most cases, the functionality will be the same between two comparable products.  Main differences lie in physical dimensions and the ability to connect individual units via modular brackets.  There may be minor changes in specifications with certain comparable products.

Please note, while both series fall under the same product family, they will not be able to be connected and used with our modular brackets.  For instance, the B410T modular T-Brackets will connect 4000 Series units (such as SAF4000M-N04B filter with a SAR4000M-N04BG regulator), but the bracket will not be compatible to connect 400 series counterparts (SAF400-N04B with SAR400-N04BG).  The 400 series have newly designed brackets that connect the units in a different way.

Our product offering is continually developing and growing to better suit all of your compressed air needs.  As we go through this transition, we will continue to offer both product lines until further notice.  We apologize for the added confusion, and our staff will always be available to address and clarify your questions and concerns.

Thank you!
